  1. Suli Wang, PE, BCEE, PMP, CCCA, PMI-RMP, PMI-SP
    President/Founder & Project Manager/Permitting Specialist Years of Experience: 35 Ms. Wang has extensive engineering and permitting experience in a broad range of engineering projects. She played senior project leadership roles working with multiple disciplines and organizational units while maintaining high service standards and high-quality assurance in fast-paced environments, meeting deadlines and simultaneous demands from clients. Ms. Wang has obtained numerous permits for various projects from local, state, and federal agencies and became a well sought-after permitting specialist. For Ms. Wang’s effort in managing and processing DDOT public space permit applications, Ms. Wang was recognized and chosen from among many DBE firms in DC to give a keynote speech at the opening session of the 2015 DDOT DBE summit held at the Kellogg Conference Center, Gallaudet University in DC. along with other keynote speakers, such as the DC Mayor, DDOT Director and Deputy Director, and the Administrator of Federal Highway Administration District Office. The DBE summit was a well-attended event. Ms. Wang was invited by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a subject matter expert (SME) in risk management and scheduling management to review, update, and develop questions for use in future risk management and project management professional credentials examinations in November 2015 and in 2017. Ms. Wang was a recipient of the 2011 George Patton Scholarship awarded by PMI Educational Foundation and taught project management professional (PMP) certification exam preparation courses that she developed.
  2. Abbe Karp, EIT, CDT
    Mechanical Engineer/Project Controls/Assistant Project Management Years of Experience: 10 Ms. Karp has extensive engineering and document control experience in construction and design projects. Her myriad responsibilities include creating design submittals and cost estimates, writing and reviewing project specifications, document control, project setup, invoicing and project management, and sewer assessment and rehabilitation design.   3. Jonathan T. Gwin
    Civil/Mechanical Inspector Years of Experience: 20 Jonathan Gwin has a very diverse range of heavy civil project experience and knowledge including over 15 years of supervisor experience in the construction industry.     Civil Inspector Years of Experience: 3 Mr. Logie has worked as a construction inspector monitoring sewer asset video and sonar inspection, CIPP installation, manhole rehabilitation, large diameter pipe cleaning, and multi discipline renovation of sewer pumping station facilities. Mr. Logie is highly capable in common computer systems, organizational skills and written communication. Mr. Logie also offers additional abilities through education in the use of Geographic Information Systems and mapping techniques applied to field location of assets and communication of critical project logistical considerations.   5. Raymond A. Smith, Jr.
    Electrical/Mechanical Inspector Years of Experience: 38 Mr. Smith’s career as an Electrical Mechanical Inspector began as an apprentice in the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. Smith’s projects include the US Capitol Dome Renovation project as well as major General Services Administration (GSA) modernizations. Earlier experience includes projects at the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Andrews Air Force Base, Quantico Marine Corp Base and the National Institutes of Health. As an electrical inspector providing quality assurance and quality control Mr. Smith utilizes his strong knowledge of automation systems, heating ventilation and air conditioning systems, electrical concepts, and operations. In addition, he inputs and manages information using Prolog, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word on a daily basis. As a team player he develops and maintains good working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Clients at the State Department commended Mr. Smith for his “…expert coordination and logistical support in orchestrating an innovative design and a superior reconstruction project…” Mr. Smith has received numerous similar commendations throughout his career.     Architect Years of Experience: 14 Mr. Hong has extensive construction and architecture experience in a broad range of commercial and residential project. The construction industry is one of the largest industries and Mr. Hong focused on learning a little bit of everything to be well round individual. He can conform to all different levels of the project from a labor, draftsman, and to project coordination. However, his specialty is combining them all together and planning ahead.     Project Control/Project Scheduling Specialist/Lecturer of Scheduling Years of Experience: 5 Mr. Su is a Project Engineer/Scheduler with SZ PM Consultants, Inc. working on the Water Management Program at DC Water. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral research assistant and a lecturer of scheduling in the Construction Engineering and Management Program in the Department of Civil Engineering at The Catholic University of America. His knowledge and skills focus on mathematical modeling of scheduling and cash flow management, float ownership and valuation, and integrated project management with 4D/nD planning. He worked as a research assistant in many industries – university collaboration projects, which included developing numerically model and analyzing problems in construction management via accurate and efficient models of time, cost, and resource interactions to facilitate work progress in construction projects.     Project Engineer/Water Distribution System Modeling/Water & Wastewater System Design/I&C Design Years of Experience: 10+ Ms. Shao has diverse international engineering experience in water distribution system planning and modeling, water/wastewater system design, instrumentation and control (I&C) system design, and software applications. She shows her solid technical expertise on water distribution system hydraulic modeling and analysis, producing engineering report, plans, and evaluating additional improvements for water systems in recent finished projects. Ms. Shao also has proven experience in I&C design, including P&ID and PFD drawings, and instrumentation deliverables for large-scale engineering projects.   12. Frank Chorman
    Senior Electrical Inspector Years of Experience: 48 Mr. Chorman is a Senior Electrical Inspector with extensive experience in the electrical industry. Mr. Chorman's background consists of 5 years of Electrical apprentice training and 16 years as a Journeyman Electrician and 4 years as a licensed teacher for the Board of Education, City of New York. Mr. Chorman has an additional 23 years experience as a Senior Electrical Inspector and worked on projects at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Rockefeller Center, The World Trade Center and The United Nations in New York. Mr. Chorman has traveled extensively in the United States and international and worked on Sub Stations and Power Plants in Washington State, Oregon, Iowa and worked for Marathon Oil in New Orleans, La. Mr. Chorman has worked for the U.S. Department of State as a Resident Electrical Engineer in the Republic of Georgia and has a Top Secret Security Clearance. Frank has also worked with former Secretary of State Condolisa Rice on several U.S. foreign embassies. Mr. Chorman has also worked as a Q.A. Q.C. Electrical Inspector on the Trans Alaskan Oil Pipeline that transports crude oil 800 miles from the North Slope to Valdez, Alaska.
  13. Joseph Goss, PE, F.ASCE
    Project Manager/QA/QC Specialist Years of Experience: 49 Mr. Goss is a senior environmental engineer with broad water and wastewater engineering experience, including in-depth experience with DC Water program management contracts. He has developed QA/QC programs for deliverables under these contracts and performed many quality reviews for design plans and specifications, reports, and other planning studies and documents. Most recently, Mr. Goss rewrote the Quality Management Plan (QMP) for a consultant on a DC Water wastewater construction management (CM) contract. He implemented this QMP by auditing the office and field quality procedures for the CM contract projects during construction, developed corrective action plans, and followed up on them with the resident engineers and inspectors.
